Mary Grace Brannon
Kindergarten Teacher
I am a passionate Kindergarten teacher with advanced training from the Ron Clark Academy and LETRS, equipping me to meet the needs of diverse learners. I proudly serve as the Varsity Cheer Sponsor, fostering school spirit and leadership, and as Director of the National Peanut Festival Pageants—a tri-state tradition with over 80 years of history. In 2023, I was honored to serve as Miss Alabama International, using my platform, leaving a Legacy of Literacy, to advocate for children’s access to books and to inspire a lifelong love of reading. My work blends education, service, and tradition, reflecting a strong commitment to empowering youth, community engagement, and lifelong learning.

Teaching is more than a job—it’s a calling. Lead with love, stay flexible, and never stop learning. Build strong relationships with your students and their families, because connection is the foundation of growth. Embrace every child’s uniqueness, celebrate small wins, and don’t be afraid to be creative and energetic—it makes learning magical. Surround yourself with mentors, ask questions, and lean into your training.
