I have now received my Master of Accountancy in Spring 2025. In 2024, I was honored to receive the National Benevolent Association Young Adult Leadership Development Grant, which I used to lead a service project assembling duffel bags filled with personal hygiene supplies and care items for foster youth. Additionally, in 2023, I was selected to participate in the Nancy Walton Laurie Leadership Institute as a Resilient Leader, an experience that deepened my commitment to community service and personal growth

What motto or phrase motivates you?
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Uplifting, Ambitious, Optimistic
What advice would you give to someone entering your field?
Be intentional in developing relationships at work at all levels of the organization and across departments. You’ll get so much more out of your career if you branch out of your own bubble. Get involved and be willing to raise your hand. Be positive in the office and excited to learn! Make a point to learn the industry behind the accounting you are doing. The people out in the field are so incredibly knowledgeable and have helped me better understand my job on the accounting side tremendously. If you see a gap or a need on the team, be the person who jumps in to fill it! Treat people with kindness, but don’t let them walk over you. It’s a hard balance, especially as a woman in the oil and gas industry. Work ethically and be the person who says something if you see something wrong, even if it’s hard or not necessarily the popular choice to do so.
