As a junior in college, fully responsible for all my financial obligations, including tuition, housing, sorority dues, and daily living expenses, I applied for the Helping Hands Fund for Undergraduate Support to help ease the financial burden I carry alone. Balancing a full-time course load, a part-time job, and a work-study position tutoring elementary students every morning is incredibly demanding, both emotionally and financially.
This grant represents more than just financial relief; it is a reminder that I’m not alone in this journey.
Chi Omega has taught me the value of genuine Sisterhood, how to lean into community, and how to support others with compassion, just as they’ve supported me. Thank you again for your generosity and belief in my potential.

Receiving the Helping Hands Fund for Undergraduate Support grant has impacted me in more ways than one. It has helped financially in supporting a portion of academic costs, which can be a lot for my parents, especially with having to support not just me, but my twin brother and sister in college.
However, this grant represented more than financial support - it has reflected the spirit of encouragement and empowerment that Chi Omega fosters. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be considered and to further my education with the support of my Sisterhood behind me.

Since beginning nursing school, the expenses have increased, and it has become more challenging to pay for all the necessities. This grant has allowed me more flexibility to focus more on school and my studies. I have also been able to enjoy the benefits of my Sisterhood and lead my chapter as G.K.A. without stressing about having to leave my chapter because of financial constraints.

Being part of Chi Omega Fraternity is a very rewarding experience during and after college. The connections will help you pursue your wants/desires and dreams. Being able to give EVERY female that capability, no matter what their financial situation is vital for her future and ours.
I’m proud to be part of a community that invests in women’s growth, connection, and purpose. Supporting the next generation matters because every Sister deserves the tools and encouragement to thrive and because I have a daughter! And for anyone considering their first gift, I’d say: even the smallest ripple can create lasting change.

I think we - as women - need to take a leadership role when it comes to supporting our Fraternity to help foster younger members. I give to the Foundation in memory of a Sister who passed suddenly and because Chi Omega has given so much to me both in friendship and in executive leadership.

Becoming a Chi Omega changed my life - I've made lifelong friends and continue to meet incredible Sisters. I would not have been able to join Chi Omega without support from my family and the work-study program on campus, and I am incredibly grateful. I want to support young women to become Chi Omegas and experience the same life-changing Sisterhood.
