In 2025, I was honored to be named to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 30 Under 30, a recognition that celebrates up-and-coming coaches who are making an impact in the sport. During the 2024–2025 season, our team achieved the most program wins since the 2019–2020 season, reached ten wins in a season for the first time in several years, secured our largest team win since November 2022, and scored the most points in a game—96—since January 2020. Earlier in my journey, I was part of championship teams that earned the NIRSA Regional title in 2019 and the Lone Star Sport Club title in 2018, and I received the Fiat Lux Award in 2017 for leadership and service.

What advice would you give to someone entering your field?
Coaching is challenging at every level. There are highs and lows, wins and lessons learned—but through it all, never lose sight of your ‘why.’ Remember what encouraged you to start, because that purpose will carry you through the toughest moments.
