"...to work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand." ~The Chi Omega Symphony, Ethel Switzer Howard, Xi Chapter
Chi Omegas, inspired by shared experiences and common purposes, are making a difference on their campuses, in their communities, in their workplace, and in the lives of their families and friends. The Chi Omega difference is about Sisters bringing purposes to life, one woman at a time—friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence and intellectual pursuits, community and campus involvement, and personal and career development. Our Fraternity's shared values inspire each member to serve the world!
We become united in spirit as we seek to make the world a better place for others. Many of our Chi Omega collegiate and alumnae chapters are involved with our national philanthropy, Make-A-Wish®, by donating funds to grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Some of our chapters choose to address local needs and serve at women's shelters, help with Habitat for Humanity projects, or raise funds for cancer research. Our chapters also support philanthropic activities sponsored by other fraternities, sororities, or student groups. Whatever the cause, Chi Omegas are making a difference in service and leadership of these efforts.
