Our beloved Sigma Zeta sister, Marcia Ann Munson (initiated January 13, 1971),was promoted to Glory on November 25, 2012, having lived in great health until an unexpected stroke took her from us. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary and Howard Munson, of Dallas; and her brother, Eddie, of Houston. She is survived by her brother, Bill, and his wife, Melissa, of Houston, and their two children, Bill and Lindsey Munson; sister-in-law, Cindy Munson, of Tulsa, OK; nephew, Matthew Munson, of Dallas; niece, Evin Munson, of Tulsa, OK; and cousins, Mary Paul, of Avondale, PA, and John Salter, of Helen, GA. Marcia is also survived by Brooke Kinard, of Rockwall, TX, who was the daughter Marcia never had, Brooke's twins, Natalie and Mallory, the grandchildren we shared with Marcia, and Mike and Terry Kinard, her loving friends of 30 years, who all enjoyed Marcia's loving disposition and learned from her wisdom and work ethic, sharing a home and life and gospel ministry. Marcia held three Master's Degrees, taught public school many years, and worked for A&M University-Commerce as a teacher supervisor until her death. She also worked at Lowe's in Rockwall and excelled in both work and witness, touching hundreds of lives with her wisdom and kindness. Our great loss is her great gain. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her... Life will never be the same, but Heaven is sweeter and nearer because Marcia is there. Memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, December 9, 2012, at 2pm at Lone Oak Community Church, 703 Hwy 69 in Lone Oak, TX 75453, with the graveside burial service on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 1:00pm at Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, 75243.
