Chi Omega was founded with the intent of becoming a national organization. By 1910, our Fraternity has expanded into every part of the country. Within 15 years, Chi Omega chapters spanned the United States – from Maine to California, Oregon to Florida, Texas to Illinois. Whenever a new chapter was installed, members in other chapters wore Chi Omega's colors beneath their pins and sent letters of welcome and congratulations.

Today Chi Omega continues to grow, adding about one chapter a year.

Our newest chapter is located at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The Phi Alpha Chapter was re-installed on January 24, 2009. Located in the nation's capital, The George Washington University is a private, comprehensive university with approximately 10,000 undergraduate students. Chi Omega joins a thriving Greek Community consisting of nine NPC sororities.
